7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

As tomorrow is Valentines Day, quite a few of this mornings songs have love in the title. My Featured Artist this week is Billy Ocean who’s biggest hits were “Caribbean Queen” and “When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going”. He was presented with an honorary doctorate of music by the University of Westminster in 2002 and in 2020 he was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the New Year Honours for services to music. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris will be joined by one of the members of the Eastbury Fun Club (EFC) to talk about their recent Burns Night event which raised funds for the N.A.W.T at Trindledown farm. Plus, what EFC have planned for this year. With Valentine’s day taking place on Saturday Chris will be taking valentine’s requests via text message and email. 11am – 12noon This Week with Penny and Brian

With Penny away for the next few weeks it’s Brian that’s in the hot seat and he’ll provide the latest local news from the Valley and the surrounding area plus a delve into some of the stories making the headlines.

12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing with Chris Carter Brennan

Chris previews the weekend’s action from Ascot (pic), Haydock Park and Wincanton. The feature races are at Ascot is the Grade 1 Betfair Ascot Chase and at Haydock Park the Grade 2 ZYN Rendlesham Hurdle

12.30pm – 1.30pm The Legal Show with Daniel Davis

Daniel Davis (pic left) will be fronting the show this week along with Sophie Lawrence (pic right). Dan will be talking about the dangers of using AI as a litigant in person, as well as the recent changes to employment law. Sophie is going to talk about gifts: which ones are legal and which aren’t. Soft loans from parents are a common one.

In a one hour programme, Linda and Tim continue their trek round the US via song titles. Plus the regular ‘On this Day’ feature and some stories from this week’s news.
