7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show
Once again I’ll be playing music selected to start your day on the bright side. My Featured Artist this week is the rock band The Killers. They are considered one of the biggest rock bands of the 21st century, selling more than 28 million records worldwide, including 10.8 million in the U.S. They have performed in over 50 countries and on six continents, headlining venues such as Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium, Glastonbury Festival in 2007 and 2019, and Electric Picnic in Ireland in 2023. 9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Chris welcomes Neal Courtney (pic below) to the 4LEGS studio who’s the Chairman and trustee of Chieveley Village Hall near Newbury. Neal will be chatting about the Hall’s ‘Vision 2050’ project which
they are continuing to raise funds for and is a backdrop to what he believes are the key drivers for the hall.
Chris will also take a look back at the year 1998 and will play some of the big hits from that year.
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny & Brian
Penny and Brian’s guest on this week’s show is Tori Eeles (pic right) who’ll be talking about her business Elver Roots which is a food and drink marketing consultancy. They’ll also provide some of the key local news stories of the week.
12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show Chris Carter Brennan
Chris will review some of the feature races from last weekend’s Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown and he’ll preview this Saturday’s fixture at Newbury, where the most valuable race is the William Hill Hurdle which is worth almost £100,000 to the winner.
12.30pm – 2.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester
Join Tim and Linda for their weekly magazine which takes a look at some interesting and amusing facts and stories from around the globe. Plus of course they’ll be playing some great music as well.
