Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

This week’s breakfast Show should set you up for the last working day of the week. My Featured Artist at 8 will be Cheryl Cole. She has topped the Charts nine times here in the UK. Four times with Girls Aloud and five times as a solo artist. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

My guests in the studio this week is District Councillor Howard Woollaston (pic right) and from the Lambourn Junction CIC Christian Noll, and the topic of discussion is the proposed 20 mph speed limits in the Valley. I’ll also be speaking to Gill Leach (pic left), a trustee at West Berks Mencap about the latest news from the charity including their race day event at Newbury at the end of February. I will of course be playing some great music as well.

11am – 11.30am The Local Eco Show

In this week’s Show we catch-up with Rosie Kindersley about the role that cattle play in their mixed organic farming at Sheepdrove. We also hear about the latest in climate change communication from Deborah Phillips.

11.30am - 12noon Soul Medicine with Carolyn Anne Sykes

Yvonne Parker (pic right) a hypnotherapist in Swindon is today’s special guest on this month’s Soul Medicine. She’ll be talking to Carolyn (pic left) about the many ways holistic therapies can help people. 

12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan

There’s some great racing this weekend including the prestigious Dublin Racing Festival from Leopardstown in Ireland. Plus, there’s great sport at Sandown Park (pic). Chris will be on-hand to preview the racing and provide a couple of tips for you to have a small wager

12.30pm – 1.30pm "Marie" an Audio play written by Sebastian Towyn-Brown

Why not listen to this fantastic audio play written by young local talented Sebastian Towyn-brown (pic). It tells the story of Towyn’s grandmother “Marie” in the Second World War and her time with a Dutch soldier. The two had a relationship but when D-Day came were forced to say goodbye. Forty years later he went looking for her again. Before the play is aired Chris will be chatting to Towyn it and his acting and writing career.

1.30pm - 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

There’s lots more music questions for you to answer from the 4LEGS king of the pop quiz Tim Stutt.

2.30pm – 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Linda and Tim continue their trawl through American places, prompted by their song titles. Plus a review of last week’s Bird Count, an edible spoon and how it’s all done by mirrors.

4.30pm - 6.15pm The Retro Radio Show with Andy Henly

Join Andy Henly for his Retro Radio Show in which he plays the biggest hits of the past, bringing back some of your favourite memories. Play the School Days Challenge and see what you can remember of those lessons in the classroom and cast your mind back to some favourite old TV shows.
