9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

On my show this week I’ll be speaking to members of Dutch band ‘NiksMinder’ (pic below) about their music, influences and their future aspirations. There’s also an interview with Alissia from the Lambourn Youth Council about the Summer’s Lambourn Art Club that’s given children the opportunity to come together creatively (pic of Alissia with Helen who’s the art club leader). There’s also this week’s ‘business matters’ which looks at the past 7 days in the UK economy and lots of great tunes as well.

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny & Brian

Find out what’s going on in the Lambourn Valley and surrounding area when Penny and Brian will provide all the latest news and views

12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan

Chris reviews the first 2 days of the York Ebor festival and previews the final 2 which includes the valuable Sky Bet Ebor handicap, one of the most valuable handicaps in Europe.

12.30pm – 1.30pm the Gardening Show with Linda & Jane

On this month’s Garden Show, we look at the plants that have enjoyed the heat, Jane will tell us some interesting things about sweet potatoes, and we talk about an interesting garden just a 45 minute drive from the Lambourn Valley.

1.30pm – 3.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On this week’s Face2Face, Tim and Linda find some old phrases, enjoy hearing about some pampered dogs, check out where passports came from and remember some well lived lives. The music includes Sam Fender, The Waterboys, Sam Burton and Lewis Capaldi.
