7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

This week, I’m back with our normal two hour Breakfast Show. As we had technical issues last week I was unable to present my Featured Artist so, again this week, the Featured Artist at 8 will be Donovan who emerged from the British folk scene in early 1965 and subsequently scored multiple international hit singles and albums during the late 1960s. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2014.

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

I’m back with a busy Yabber Yabber show. Molly Hall will provide the latest  news from the N.A.W.T at Trindledown Farm nr. Great Shefford. Gill Leech ( pic right) who’s a trustee at West Berks MENCAP will talk about their charity Royal Ascot raceday event taking place at at the MENCAP Centre in Newbury on 21st June. Plus, 10 year old Darcy from the Lambourn Youth Council has some exciting news about a new running track in Lambourn. I’ve also got the local news with Brian Quinn and ‘business matters’ looks at the past 7 days in the UK economy.  There’s lots to enjoy folks!

11am – 12noon The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane

On this month’s Garden Show, Linda and Jane discuss wedding flowers, what’s new in their gardens and their rating of favourite roses and sweet peas for best colour and scent.

12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show (Derby Preview) with Chris Carter Brennan

It’s The Oaks and Derby weekend at Epsom. Chris will preview classics and some of the of the other feature races. So Join Chris for all the latest news and hopefully he’ll find you the winners of these 2 classic UK races.

12.30pm – 1pm This Week with Penny

This week Penny discusses seasonal recipes including broad beans, beetroot leaves and rhubarb.

1pm – 1.30pm The Local Eco Show

Penny talks to retired vet and horticulturalist Jane Prior (pic) about how to reduce the effects of our pets and their parasite treatments on the environment. What can we safely do to minimise use of flea, tick and worming medication that is highly toxic to wildlife, especially aquatic life, which affects the whole food chain.

1.30pm - 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

Test your musical knowledge in another round of Pop Quizzical with your regular 4LEGS host Tim Stutt.

2.30pm – 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face, Linda and Tim provide a welcome to the month of June and tell three stories about some remarkable speed achievements. One runs across Australia, one is 105 and one is a speed busting duck. There is plenty more, backed by a music list which includes Tracy Chapman, Cat Stevens and the Beatles
