7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Another sunny day is promised for this Friday. As well as great music selected to start you off with smile for the day, this week a slight change. Instead of a Featured Artist at 8, I will be spending the final hour playing great Rock and Roll music starting with what is considered by many to be the first Rock and Roll song, which was released in 1951, ending in 1958. Don’t miss it!
9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

My guest this week is David Woodd who’s Chairman of the Lockinge Point-to-Point. David will be telling me everything you should know about Point-to-Points plus details of the upcoming meeting at Lockinge over the Easter weekend. I’ll also have my usual chat with Brian Quinn about this week’s local news and there’s a look at the past 7 days in the UK economy during “business matters”. Plus I’ll share what it means to reach the radio station’s 8th birthday. Of course there’ll be lots of great tunes as well. Enjoy!

Penny finds out about the work done this week in East Garston’s Millenium Field by the West Berkshire Countryside Society to create more habitat for wildlife and Brian explores some of the issues behind the headlines

This week Penny talks to Tony Currivan (pic), Partnerships for Nature project co-ordinator at the North Wessex Downs National Landscape about the wonderful projects they are doing across the area to create and improve habitats for a range of local wildlife species under threat.

Written by Andy Kempe and performed by the Greenham Tower Theatre Company, ‘A Sign of the Times’ is a radio play set at Greenham Common. The story starts with an aircraft crash in 1939 and encompasses spies, betrayal, lost love and the search for justice.
