Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

The weather has been improving daily and it looks good for the weekend. As well as great music selected to start you off with a smile for the day, my Featured Artist at 8 is Mark Knopfler, lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the rock band Dire Straits. Described by Classic rock as a virtuoso, Mark is a finger style guitarist and was ranked 27th on Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

I’ve three guests on this week’s Yabber Yabber. The first is Molly Hall (pic below) from the N.A.W.T at Trindledown farm and she’ll be providing the latest news from the animal welfare centre. The second is Mark Smyly (pic right) who’ll let us know what people can enjoy at The Lambourn Open Day on Good Friday. Finally, the third guest is Brian Quinn who’ll provide some local news from the Valley and Surrounding area. You’ll also be able to find out what’s been going on in the UK economy during the “business matters” slot. All this plus some great music as well. Enjoy!

11am – 11.30am This Week with Penny and Brian

Penny will be talking about this Saturday’s GREENFEST event in Newbury and she’ll cover some of this week’s national news stories with Brian Quinn.

11.30am - 12noon It's Time to Talk with Sarah Roberts

On this Friday’s ‘It’s Time to Talk’ Sarah interviews Alyssia Admans from Care Partners in Newbury. Sarah finds out about the vital home care that Alyssia and Care Partners provide to the community.

12noon – 1pm The Downlands Racing Show - Grand National Preview

Join expert racing pundits Pat Murphy (pic below) , Colin Brown (pic right) and Chris Carter Brennan for a one hour preview of this weekend’s Grand National at Aintree. They’ll run through each runner and rider and hopefully find you the winner of the world famous race.

1pm – 2pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane

On this month’s Gardening Show, Linda and Jane chat through the subjects of water butts, tomato plants and ‘jobs for  now,’ as gardens start to spring to life

2pm - 3.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

Tim and Linda  will present a 90 minute Face2Face programme, in which we will range across topics from the tale of a Bear Grylls sausage dog, to an assault by a cauliflower and from a look at the history of escalators to the debate over self checkouts. The music will include Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Butler and Neil Finn. 

3.30pm - 5.20pm The Retro Radio Show with Andy Henly
