7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

It’s time for another two hours of get up and go music. My Featured Artist at 8 is the British Band McFly which was formed in London in 2003. McFly have had sales of 2 million albums and 3 million singles in the UK and more than 10 million records worldwide. As of 2016, McFly also had 18 consecutive UK top 20 singles, seven of which reached number one in the UK Singles Chart and fifteen of which were consecutive top ten singles. Don’t miss it!

9am – 10am This Week with Penny and Brian

This Week with Penny and Brian looks at local goings on down the valley, the issues behind local headlines and a quick hello to an intriguing couple visiting Great Shefford who travel everywhere with their horse “Dancer” (pic).

10am – 11.30 Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

In a shorter Yabber Yabber I’ll be looking back at this day in music history and I’ve another recording of classic TV and Radio comedy from the archives. You can also listen to Hungerford Town FC’s Danny Robinson’s post match interview after their fantastic away win last Saturday and there’s the weekly look at the UK economy during “Business Matters”. There’ll be a lot of great music to enjoy as well.

11.30am - 12noon It's Time to Talk with Sarah Roberts

This week on ‘It’s ‘Time to Talk’ I will be talking to Clive Haynesford a professional racing driver (pic) and telling you about my new book “Hope and Love”

12noon – 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan

Chris will be looking back at last Friday’s Gold Cup at Cheltenham and previewing the weekend’s fixtures at Kelso and Newbury. The feature race is the Grade 2 BetVictor British EBF National Hunt Mares Novice Hurdle at Newbury.

12.30pm – 1.30pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth

TV Adverts and classical music have always enjoyed a wonderful marriage. In this edition of Classical Gas originally broadcast in July, Chris will be playing some of the most famous tunes that are and always will be associated with well known consumer brands. So tune into Classical Gas and find out how the advertising agencies captured the magic of a good tune.

1.30pm - 3.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On this week’s Face2Face, Linda and Tim check out the latest news from the Watermill Theatre, anticipate the forthcoming VEDay anniversary and find some curious bird stories. The music chosen again ranges across the decades, from Fats Waller to Paul Weller.
