Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio
7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show
Two hours of great music to start the final working day of the week. My Featured Artist at 8 this Friday will be Boyzone (pic). In 2012, the Official Charts Company revealed that they were the second most successful boy band in Britain, behind Take That. So make a date to join me at 7. Don’t miss it!
9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
I’ll be talking to Daniel Davies (pic right) who’s making a career change from a GWR train driver to a solicitor. I’ll ask him why he’s decided to make the change and how easy / difficult it’s been to do so. There’ll also be the usual look at UK economy during the past 7 days and if you want to know what’s happening in the Lambourn Valley and surrounding area Brian Quinn will let you know. I’ll play lots of great music as well as some of your Christmas messages. Enjoy!
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
Rob Daniels (pic) from Greenham Trust is coming back into the studio to update us on the busy time they’ve had with their annual Charity Awards and their fundraising staff sleep-out in aid of their Cost of Living Crisis appeal
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Chris Carter Brennan
There’s some fantastic sport this weekend at Cheltenham which is the HQ of National Hunt racing. Chris will be previewing the 2 day fixture and hopes to find the 4LEGS listeners a winner or two. He’s been in great tipping form recently.
12.30pm – 2pm Some of the worst Christmas Songs ever with Chris & Chris
There’s been some awful Christmas Songs over the years and the two Chris’s will be playing their choice of some of the worst from artists including Bob Dylan, John Denver, New Kids on the Block, Iggy Pop and a certain Mr Blobby (pic). You just have to listen because you won’t believe how bad some of them are.
2pm – 3pm 4LEGS Radio Christmas Special with Andy Westgate
Following on from some of the worst Christmas Songs you can now listen to some of the best in this Christmas Special with Andy Westgate. There’s lots of fantastic tracks from the likes of Elton John, Chris Rea, Jethro Tull, Mud and many more…
3pm - 3.30pm Six Christmas Short Stories
Sit back, relax and enjoy a cup of tea (or something stronger) and listen to 6 Christmas stories to get you in the festive mood.
