Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

It’s the last Breakfast Show of the month and as usual, I’ll be doing my best to get you ready for the final working day of the week. My Featured Artist this week is the English singer and songwriter Becky Hill. So far, she is the only The UK Voice contestant to top the UK charts with a single and in 2022, she received nominations for two Brit Awards. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

I’ll be looking back at this year in music history and you can enjoy comedians Bill Bailey (pic) and Jasper Carrot (pic) with their hilarious take on ‘A Brief History of Time’, ‘Insurance Claims’ and ‘Parenting.’ I’ll also catch-up with Brian Quinn for the latest local news and event information and there’s the weekly look at the UK economy during Business Matters. There’ll also be a lot of great tunes but no Christmas music, it’s just too early!

11am – 11.30am This Week with Penny

This week Penny visits Robert Sandilands Primary School (pic) in Speen to meet the team planting their exciting new edible Food Forest and wildlife hedge.

11.30am - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing (Coral Gold Cup Special) with Chris Carter Brennan

In this special one hour Downlands Racing show Chris will focus on the 2 day fixture at Newbury this weekend with the main event being the Coral Gold Cup on Saturday. There’s interviews with a number of trainers from last week’s gallops morning at Newbury  including Jamie Snowden, Dan Skelton and Ben Pauling who all hope to have runners in the big race. Plus well known racehorse owner and football man Harry Redknapp (pic) talks about the chances of his horse ‘Shakem Up’arry’ of winning the race and Coral’s Broadcasting and PR representative Simon Clare spoke of what it means to Corals for sponsoring the 2 day fixture for a third year.

12.30pm – 1.30pm The Legal & Finance Show with Karen Salmon

Karen (pic left) will be doing her usual Christmas topic which is Children in the middle and Sophie (pic right) will talk about the Dos and Don’ts of being separated at Christmas, as well as some legal Dos and Don’ts not related to separation.

1.30pm – 2.30pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth

This week on Classical Gas, music enthusiast Chris Booth will talk about instruments snd sections within orchestras and he will illustrate the chat with  some lovely music.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Linda and Tim find a dream job a few thousand miles away, take a look at some exotic pets (postponed from last week), search out our number seven choice in our top ten of TV comedy, check out  events on this very day across the years and find a penguin with some outstanding stamina. Music comes from Rag n’ Bone Man, Wolf Alice, Elbow, Michael Kiwanuka and more.
