My Featured Artist at 8 this Friday morning is Quincy Jones (pic right), one of the most important and versatile figures the history of 20th Century music, who died last Sunday. His career spanned over 70 years, with 28 Grammy Awards won out of 80 nominations. He produced 3 of the most successful album by Michael Jackson including Thriller, the best selling album of all time.

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Joining me in the studio will be Keith Middleton who’s a Lambourn Parish Councillor and he’ll be providing updates on some of the Council’s projects. Plus, Molly Hall (pic) will provide the latest news from the N.A.W.T at Trindledown Farm. I’ll also share what’s been going on in the UK economy over the past 7 days during ‘business matters’ and there’ll be a look at what’s going on locally with Brian Quinn.
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
This week Penny will be joined by Claire Coard (pic right) from Great Shefford who has recently become St Thomas’s Church in East Shefford’s Volunteer for the Church Conservation Trust. Claire is planning some events in this beautiful church starting with a carol service on Saturday 21 December.
12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing with Chris Carter Brennan
Chris will give you all the news from the world of racing over the past 7 days and preview the weekend’s National Hunt fixtures at Aintree (pic) and Wincanton. Plus there’s the small matter of final feature race of the flat season at Doncaster, the Virgin Bet November handicap.
12.30pm – 2pm Pop Quizzical (Anniversary Show) with Tim Stutt
It’s Pop Quizzical 6th Anniversary Show – join our regular pop master, Tim Stutt, to celebrate with all the best questions and music from the last 12 months of Pop Quizzical.
2pm - 4pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester
On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda review a musical comedy set to transfer to Broadway and then take a trip to Sonning Mill (pic) to sample a new ghost story. Additionally, there is finally time for some Wombling, plus a peak at some letters sent to the Times and finally the next candidate for the Face2Face top ten of TV comedy. The music comes from Barbara Dickson, Katie Melia, Thee Sacred Souls, ELO and lots more.
