This week we move on to the 31st Annual Grammy Awards held in February 1989. Bobby McFerrin had a total of five nominations and came away with 4 Grammys. Tracy Chapman had six nominations and won three Grammys. Other artists you will hear this week include the Beach Boys, Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine, Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Manhattan Transfer, Robert Palmer, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker and George Michael.
