This week I’ll be reviewing a selection of Grammy nominees and winners from the 28th Annual Grammy Awards. USA for Africa’s “We are the World” won four Grammys and Phil Collins three, on the night. Stevie Wonder won is first Grammy in nine years and other artists you will hear include The Commodores, Paul Young, Whitney Houston, Dire Straits, Don Henley, The Pointer Sisters, Sting, Sade, Glen Frey, The Eurythmics with Aretha Franklin Bruce Springsteen and many more…Don’t miss it!

12noon - 2pm Andy Westgate's Wall of Sound

On this week’s Wall of Sound Ann and Nancy Wilson perform an iconic classic in the Live @1 feature, There’s two 2-4-1s, in the first hour two early classic hits from Alice Cooper and in the second hour two 90s hits from The Manic Street Preachers.

As alway there’s a stack of big classic hits from mega selling artists, like Eric and Derek, Gerry Rafferty, Tina Turner, Ian Dury, The Who (pic) and three back to back hits from a mystery year…..see if you can work which year.
