7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

The weather seems to have warmed up a bit and it’s another two hours of music selected to get you ready for the last working day of the week and a great weekend. At 8 my Featured Artist is Pulp (pic) the British band that had three top 10 hits in 1995. One of those hits became a defining track of the Britpop movement as well as Pulp’s signature song. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

My guest is Roger Alison from the ‘Read Easy’ charity who’ll be talking about the West Berkshire Group of the charity expanding it’s service to help more people to learn to read. I’ll also be looking back at 1991 and playing some great music from that year as well as what hit the headlines. Plus Brian Quinn will provide the latest local news and event information during ‘What’s New Mr Q’ and ‘Business Matters’ will look at the UK economy  over the past 7 days.  

11am – 11.30am The Local Eco Show

With another busy weekend of racing action Chris will preview some of the feature races at Beverley, Chester, Sandown and at The Curragh in Ireland (pic). Hopefully he’ll fine you a winner or two at some of these venues.

12.30pm – 1.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane

On this month’s Gardening Show, Linda and Jane talk about the attractions of hydrangeas (pic), debunking garden myths and attracting moths to your garden. 

1.30pm - 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

Enjoy some more musical conundrums for you to solve during this hour long popular music quiz with regular host Tim Stutt.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On this week’s Face2Face, Tim ‘spills the tea’ on the expressions used by Generation Z, tells the story of war hero Stubby, finds out about villainy in top chess games and investigates the role of butlers across the years. The music includes Nick Lowe, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, Sade and much more.
