What’s On 2024-08-23

Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

This week I have two more hours of music selected to get you ready for a great Bank Holiday weekend. The featured artist this week is the British electronic band made up of Scottish musician Bill Drummond and English musician Jimmy Cauty (pic). You may know them as The KLF or The Timelords as well as by various other names. They released a series of international hits and became the biggest selling singles act in the world in 1991.
Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Join Chris as he has his monthly catch-up with Molly Hall from the N.A.W.T at Trindledown Farm who provides the latest news on the animals and events at the Centre. Chris also caught up with Lambourn Parish Councillor Keith Middleton in the week who gave updates on items including policing, parking and streetlighting. Plus Brian Quinn will inform us of local news and events information and there’s the regular look at the UK economy during the “business matters” slot.  There will of course be some great tunes as well.

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny

This week Penny is joined in the studio by Sarah Culpepper from Glass Sponge Coaching in Hungerford (pic right). With over 20 years of experience as a professional chef, Sarah celebrates local, seasonal produce and believes that a whole food diet, free from ultra-processed ingredients, is key to enhancing health and well-being. This type of diet has been shown to reduce the risk of age-related diseases and support mental health. In her coaching business Sarah empowers clients to make informed food choices by understanding food labels and the nutritional value of ingredients. Her goal is to make whole food cooking accessible and enjoyable, offering quick, simple, and affordable recipes that the whole family will love. Penny will also play a recording of a children’s choir’s performing at last weekend’s Lambourn Produce Show.
