Here’s the latest news from the N.A.W.T Centre at Trindledown Farm near Great Shefford.
Firstly, they have experienced another emergency intake of kittens and we need your support! On Sunday 30th June, they took in eight newborn kittens and one very exhausted momma-cat. Their team are currently working around the clock, through all hours of the night, working to provide babies the care they need to survive.
They are desperately seeking your support during this time, to help with the cost of medical bills for Rox and kittens. If you can donate, it is greatly appreciated and makes a massive difference and if you can’t donate but would like to support the cats under their care. Secondly, Brachycephalic, or “flat faced” dogs, like Bertie (on the left) often suffer with a health complication called Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) which makes it very difficult for dogs to breathe properly. Dogs with BOAS don’t get enough air in when they take a breath which has a big impact on both their health and quality of life.
Bertie is one of the dogs under their care suffering from this condition. The surgery helps to remove excess tissue that is present and causing obstructions in their airways.
You can lend a helping hand for Bertie and his other friends by making a donation. To do so click on the following link:
