7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

After what can only be described as a “Dull Week” I will do my best to cheer you up and get ready for the weekend with two hours of great music. My Featured Artist this morning at 8 is Sabrina Carpenter (pic) who has just become the first ever female artist to simultaneously hold the Number 1 and Number 2 spot in the UK Top 40 for three consecutive weeks.

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

I chat to Heidi Bird from The Watermill Theatre about their range of regular activities and courses for young people of all ages and ability that are available in the summer. I’ve also a recording of a recent music concert performed by the children of Brightwalton and Chaddleworth St. Andrews & Shefford Primary schools. There’s also local news and event info and a look at this week in the UK economy during the “business matters” slot. There’ll be some tunes to enjoy as well.

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny

This week Penny is joined in the studio by Rob Daniels (pic right), Head of Grants at Greenham Trust for a catch up on news from the Trust. We also hear some interviews from East Garston Fete last weekend – what a great event that was despite the dire weather forecast.

12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing with Chris Carter Brennan

Chris looks back at the first day of Newmarket’s July festival and previews the final 2 days which includes the Group 1 July Cup on Saturday. Plus can Chris find the winner of the John Smiths Cup handicap at York? Tune in to find out in what will be a frantic 30 minute show.

On Face2Face this week,  Linda and Tim take a joyous trip to the Watermill Theatre, find out about a new sort of driving test, remember old style holiday camps, check out a bagpipe revival and try to find some things you might not know about the election.
