7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

I’m inviting you to join me for another two hours of great music including three songs, starting at 8, from this week’s featured artist, jazz fusion guitarist, singer and songwriter  George Benson,

He’s won ten Grammy Awards and has been honoured with a star on the Hollywalk Walk of Fame. 

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

With the Lambourn Neighbourhood Development Plan (LNDP) in it’s final stages Chris takes the opportunity to speak with Sue Cocker (pic) who’s been one of the main people working on the project, to find out about the challenges and her view of communities expectations amongst other things. There’s also the usual “business matters” slot and Brian Quinn’s back with “What’s New Mr Q” to provide the local news and event information. 

11am – The Local Eco Show

In the latest Eco show, Penny talks to a local parliamentary candidate about the best way for local residents to communicate their climate and nature concerns before the election.And we also look ahead to Plastic Free July and the ongoing need to reduce our consumption of single-use plastics,

This Week with Penny  looks further into Plastic Free July-what easy steps can we all make to change our buying habits?

12noon – 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan

Chris looks back at the first three days of Royal Ascot and previews the final two which includes the Group 1 Coronation Stakes on Friday and the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes on Saturday.  Hopefully he’ll find the 4LEGS listeners a winner or two as well.

12.30pm – 1.30pm Old Wild Men with Max & Tobi

Today’s Old Wild Men is a rerun of a show which was broadcast in June 2023. Tobi’s theme is ‘animals’ and Max’s is ‘work’. As well as some great tunes there’s plenty of banter between the two of them.

1.30pm - 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

Today’s Pop Quizzical is rerun of a show which was broadcast in June 2023 and Tim has a very special guest.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda find out about some pampered canine air travellers, tricky roundabouts, the history of pyjamas and a not to be forgotten comedy figure.

The music features ’Not quite number ones’, the tracks which you might think topped the charts but somehow never did.
