9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Join Chris Capel on the Yabber Yabber show when his guests will include Malcolm Webb (pic right) the Music Director of the Swindon Concert Band. Malcom will be talking about the Band’s concert performance at Christ Church in Swindon to mark the 2nd anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Also Mike Bowden and from the Swindon Humanitarian Aid Partnership (SHAP) and local artist Billy Beaumont will be in the studio to provide the latest news on the children’s Play & Story bus (pic left) which will shortly be heading to Ukraine. Plus Brian Quinn will give the usual round up of local news and there will of course be some great tunes. Enjoy!

Rob Daniels, Head of Grants at Greenham Trust (pic right) joins Penny in the studio with the latest news from the trust and the Good Exchange which provide invaluable support to many groups and charities in West Berkshire and North Hampshire. Rob will talking about some of the projects they are currently supporting including: Winter Homelessness Project, Joint Cost of Living Fund, Canal Upgrades, Refugee Co-ordinator and Bishops Green Community Hall.

On today’s Downlands Racing Show Chris looks back at last weekend’s Dublin Festival at Leopardstown and previews Saturday’s fixture at Newbury which includes the Betfair Hurdle which is worth £90,000 to the winner.
