Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio
9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Chris’s guest this week is Molly Hall (pic right) from the National Animal Welfare Trust at Trindledown Farm near Great Shefford. Molly will be providing all the latest news from Trindledown plus events that are coming up. Brian Quinn’s back with “What’s New Mr Q” to inform us what’s going on in the Valley and beyond plus there’s the usual “Business Matters” slot which looks at the past 7 days in the UK economy. There’ll be plenty of great tunes to enjoy as well.
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
In the studio this week with Penny will be award-winning Personal Trainer Adam Stansbury now based in East Garston who runs The Pocket PT app with in-person training in Newbury, Hungerford and Marlborough and has lots of practical advice for anyone who wants to get fitter and stay healthy. Penny will also be talking to Nikki Coome from Eco Friends (pic left) about Plastic Free Thatcham and West Berkshire’s first Mass Unwrap at Thatcham Co-Op this Saturday 27th January to measure the amount of packaging involved in supermarket shopping.
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing Show with Chris Cater Brennan
It’s the Cheltenham Festival trials weekend so there’s some fantastic racing taking place at the HQ of jump racing. Chris will run through the feature races and try and find a winner or two for the 4LEGS listeners.
12.30pm – 1.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane
On this month’s garden show, Linda and Jane look at the seeds to sow right now, jobs to do in the winter months and, with the RSPB’s Birdwatch scheduled this weekend, how to care for wildlife in the modern garden.
1.30pm – 2.30pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth
2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester
This Friday, Tim and Linda are back to 2.30, when their subjects range from early international tourists to the ‘hardest to understand’ accents, and from Michael Bentine to Dave Allen. For the music, we attempted to choose only tracks featuring a christian name as the title. See how many you can think of.
