Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris’s guest this week is Molly Hall (pic right) from the National Animal Welfare Trust at Trindledown Farm near Great Shefford. Molly will be providing all the latest news from Trindledown plus events that are coming up.  Brian Quinn’s back with “What’s New Mr Q”  to inform us what’s going on in the Valley and beyond plus there’s the usual “Business Matters” slot which looks at the past 7 days in the UK economy.  There’ll be plenty of great tunes to enjoy as well.

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny

In the studio this week with Penny will be award-winning Personal Trainer Adam Stansbury now based in East Garston who runs The Pocket PT app with in-person training in Newbury, Hungerford and Marlborough and has lots of practical advice for anyone who wants to get fitter and stay healthy. Penny will also be talking to Nikki Coome from Eco Friends (pic left) about Plastic Free Thatcham and West Berkshire’s first Mass Unwrap at Thatcham Co-Op this Saturday 27th January to measure the amount of packaging involved in supermarket shopping.

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing Show with Chris Cater Brennan

It’s the Cheltenham Festival trials weekend so there’s some fantastic racing taking place at the HQ of jump racing. Chris will run through the feature races and try and find a winner or two for the 4LEGS listeners.

12.30pm – 1.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane

On this month’s garden show,  Linda and Jane look at the seeds to sow right now, jobs to do in the winter months and, with the RSPB’s Birdwatch scheduled this weekend,  how to care for wildlife in the modern garden. 

1.30pm – 2.30pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth

Everyone likes a good tune and in Classical Gas this week we will be playing and talking about the memorable tunes that were written by the Romantic composer Tchaikovsky. 
Often considered to be one of the greatest classical music composers find out more by listening and enjoying his many well known and timeless works.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

This Friday, Tim and Linda are back to 2.30, when their subjects range from early international tourists to the ‘hardest to understand’ accents, and from Michael Bentine to Dave Allen. For the music, we attempted to choose only tracks featuring a christian name as the title. See how many you can think of.
