7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

The perfect way to start the final working day of the week on a cold winters morning. Two hours of great music including my Featured Artist at 8, Georgie Fame (pic right). He had a string of hits in the 60 and went on to be a founding member of Bill Wyman’s band Rhythm Kings. He also worked with Count Basie, Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, Joan Armatrading and The Verve. 9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Andy Westgate

Andy sits in for Chris for this week’s Yabber Yabber with his musical cruise into the weekend. Two hours of fantastic tunes.

11am – 11.30am The Sheepdrove Eco Show

This week’s Sheepdrove Eco Show includes winter woodland management at Sheepdrove Farm, an important petition to protect British farmers from supermarket price-cutting, Newbury Friends of the Earth’s warm shop campaign and climate scientist Sir Brian Hoskin’s views on our government’s performance on meeting climate targets.

12noon – 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan

Chris Carter Brennan takes the reins for today’s Downlands Racing show and he’ll be previewing the weekend’s action at Ascot where the feature race is the Grade 1  BetMgm Clarence House Chase and at Haydock where the Sky bet Peter Marsh Handicap Chase takes center stage.

12.30pm – 1.30pm Songwriters and their Stories with Chris Booth & Tim Forrester

This edition of songwriters and their  stories will be  a show full of soul.
If you like great soul and dance music from the 1970’s then you will know the hits that were written by our Songwriters this week Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff (pic right). Together they pioneered the unique Philadelphia sound that dominated the pop charts in the 1970’s.
We will be playing a selection of their soulful hits telling the stories behind them.

1.30pm - 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

Join Tim Stutt for the popular fortnightly music quiz with questions spanning all genres and tunes from the 1950’s to the current day. 

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda cover a quirky mix of subjects which may include train announcements, NASA spacemen, an anniversary of Listen With Mother (pic) and the origins of some of our everyday phrases. There will be plenty more plus music from Huey Lewis, Paul Simon, Teddy Swims and Alison Russell.
