11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
About 10 years ago Penny saw a strange light crossing the sky between East Garston and Great Shefford. Other people have reported similar sightings recently, so today’s show will be about anything inexplicable that you have seen in the sky.

Usual presenters Pat Murphy and Chris Carter Brennan aren’t available this week so Chris Capel will be holding the fort. He’ll review some of the fantastic racing that took place over the Christmas period and previews Saturday’s Newbury fixture and Cheltenham on New Years Day
12.30pm – 1.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane
On the Gardening Show Linda and Jane answer some questions posed by novice gardener Tim Stutt – what things should every gardener have? What plants are really not worth the effort? And, as we emerge from Christmas, what gardening gifts proved the most popular? And what would they spend any gardening vouchers on?
1.30pm – 3.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester
Tim and Linda will welcome local astronomy expert Peter Birtwhistle (pic right) to Face2Face to tell us all about the latest activity in the night sky…They will also look back at what’s happened on this day over the years, take a look at some names, find a mystery story and remember one or two people or events we will all miss. All this and lots of music too.
