Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

The clocks go back one hour tomorrow and November will soon be with us. The Breakfast Show on Fridays will still be bringing you music selected to start your day on the bright side and this week, my Featured Artist at 8 is the rock band Elbow (pic right). They have just announced that, ahead of a new album they are set to release, they will be touring the UK next May, promising to deliver an album worthy of an arena tour.

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris takes a look at this day in Music History and you can find out what’s happened in the UK economy this week in the “Business Matters” slot. Plus Brian Quinn will be on-hand with the latest local news and event information. There’ll also be some useful audio items to listen to as well as some great tunes. Enjoy!

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny

This week Penny is joined in the studio by Sarah Annable-Gardner co-founder of the locally-based Ghana charity Action Through Enterprise. Sarah has recently published a heart-warming, hard-hitting and dramatic memoir called To Lawra with Love,

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Chris Carter Brennan

With the National Hunt Season about to get into full swing Chris will be previewing the 2 day jumps fixture at Cheltenham. Plus he’ll give his expert view of  the final Group1 race of the flat season on Saturday at Doncaster which is the Kameko Futurity Trophy Stakes

12.30pm – 1.30pm Middle Aged Musical Musings with Owen Killminster

The theme for for today’s Middle Aged Musical Musings is the weather – if it mentions the sunshine or the rain, the heat or the cold, it will be in the show

1.30pm – 2.30pm Pop quizzical with Tim Stutt

More pop trivia and music questions from Tim Stutt on the 4LEGS Radio fortnightly Pop Quiz.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, we have a Welsh music theme (see pic of choir) and our subjects include sleeping and snoozing, inventions we would like , Blue Peter and some very clever cats and dogs.
