Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Forget the rain and brighten up with music selected to start your day. Two hours of great sounds including our featured artist at 8, Paul Weller (pic right). We’ll have a quick look at his success with The Jam ,The Style Council and as a solo artist. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris is back after a break. He will be joined on the phone by Nancy Hancock who’s the lead singer of a Siouxsie and the Banshees tribute band called Painted Bird (pic right). There’ll be the usual business matters slot and Brian Quinn will cover the local news and event info during the ‘What’s new Mr Q’ slot. There’ll also be a look back at ‘this day in music’ history and the usual array of great tunes. Enjoy!

11am – 11.30am the Sheepdrove Eco Show

In this month’s Sheepdrove Eco Show, Rosie Kindersley explains the important role of sheep and livestock on Sheepdrove Organic Farm, Rachel Hammond is excited to announce more free places on her Farm Start courses at Sheepdrove to learn how to set up a market garden and Henry Oliver, Director of the North Wessex Downs AONB discusses their new Nature Recovery Plan and why it is so important.

For a change, the choice of music exclusively features Irish artists. 

3.30pm - 4.30pm Old Wild Men with Max & Tobi

This show is a re-run and was first broadcast in July 2022

Those Old Wild Men are back with another set of songs from some well know artists and lesser known artists together with some interesting facts and amusing banter thrown in. Tobi’s theme for today’s show is ‘names’ and Max has just gone with artists and bands he loves. So you can enjoy music from Neil Diamond, Janis Joplin, Ruthie Foster, Velvet Underground, CW Stoneking,  Fountains of Wayne, The Band and many more…
