This week marks the Grammy’s first quarter century. It’s the 25th Annual Grammy Awards which took place on February 23, 1983, at Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles. These Grammy Awards inevitably reflected popular music in the early ’80s as MTV was just beginning to make its impact. Nominees this year include Vangelis, Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes, Men at Work, Laura Brannigan, Survivor, Stevie Wonder, TOTO and many more. Don’t miss it.
