Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Looks like its going to a bit brighter this weekend so get off to a good The weather is looking a bit better for the weekend ahead, so why not start with music selected to get you going on the bright side. Plus, the Featured Artist this week at 8 is James Blunt who’s debut album “Back to Bedlam” clocked up sales of over eleven million albums and included the worldwide hit “You’re Beautiful”. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Apart from the usual selection of great music Chris will take his weekly look at “this day in music history”. He’ll also give you the latest local news and event info and there’ll be a delve into the UK economy with this week’s edition of “Business Matters” If that’s not enough there will be 2 short stories to enjoy both written by 4LEGS regular Brian Quinn. Enjoy!

11am – 12noon Cover Me with Chris Booth & Tim Forrester

Tim and Chris present a fantastic selection of covers from the past performed by many artists you’ll know and many you won’t. This coupled with factoids from the music buffs and you have a great show. This show was first broadcast in February 2022

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan

It’s the Ayr Gold Cup on Saturday and with the likelihood that the maximum number of runners will take their chance it will be a difficult race for Pat & Chris to find the winner of. But they’ll give it their best shot. They’ll also preview the competitive fixture at Newbury. so join them at 12 noon for all the news and their tips for the weekend. 

12.30pm – 1.30pm The Best Bits from Andy Westgate's Wall of Sound

Join Andy Westgate with an hour of the Best Bits of the More Music Mixes from the Wall of Sound. Crank it up and enjoy!

1.30pm – 3.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face, which starts at 1.30 this week, Tim and Linda check out the rights and wrongs of writing a letter, find the oldest Post Office in the world, learn about a local lion who used to travel to town by car and  pay tribute to a musician who didn’t want fame. The music this week includes Terence Trent D’Arby, Prefab Sprout and Rag n’ Bone Man.
