As we must finish at 10:30 this week, I have decided to review the 18th Annual Grammy Awards in two parts. This week we’ll be hearing from the nominees for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the year, Best Album, Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media and Best New Artist. On Saturday, August 19th we’ll have three hours to review the rest of the award winners from the 18th Annual Grammy Awards. Don’t miss it.
10.30am – 12noon The 4LEGS Radio New Football Season Show
It’s the 4LEGS Radio New Footy Season Show. Chris is joined by 3 local football know it all’s who preview the new season and make their predictions. They also talk women’s World Cup and discuss the Lionesses chances of bring the Cup back to the UK. There’s also a ‘guess who this is’ competition and name the teams that walk out to particular tunes. Plus Chris chats to Alan O’Donohue who’s the new Hungerford Town chairman as they prepare for life in the Southern League Premier Division . There’ll also be some great music chosen by the 3 pundits.
12noon – 3pm Andy Westgate's Wall of Sound
This week’s Wall of Sound features 2 tracks from Phil Collins’s debut Album, Face Value, and a song that’s not often heard on the radio from Wax. Also in the line-up a live mix from KLF without their Ice-cream van and two from the lad from Middlesbrough with 23 albums to his credit Chris Rea.
