Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Join me at 7 this morning for two hours of music selected to get you started on the last working day of the week. Plus, at the top of the hour at 8, the Featured Artist this week is the 70’s band based in California, the Eagles. They had many successes including the multi million selling global hit single, “Hotel California” Don’t miss it.

9am – 12noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Karen Frost (pic) is the today’s main guest on Yabber Yabber and she’ll be talking about the Hungerford Memory Worship which is a 20 minute dementia friendly church service for those living with dementia and their carers which starts in September. Brian Quinn will have his usual “What’s New Mr Q” slot covering local news and event information and there’ll be regular “Business Matters” audio about the UK economy this week.  Plus there’s this day in music and of course some great tunes. Enjoy!

 

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan

It’s been Glorious Goodwood this week so Pat & Chris look back at some of the feature races from the festival and preview the final 2 days which includes the Group 2 Qatar Lillie Langtry Stakes and the 6 furlong Coral Stewards Cup.

12.30pm – 1.30pm A Slice of England with Andy Westgate

This Friday Andy Westgate presents a one hour special, A SLICE OF ENGLAND. Inspired by Robert Browning’s poem 
Home Thoughts from Abroad and Andy’s own experiences of being at boarding school in Africa. It’s,a celebration of our great English Classical Composers and what it is that draws us back to this Green and Pleasant Land.

Join Tim Stutt for another hour of Popular music questions and facts with music across the genres.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda mix local and national news as they check out the man who was determined not to forget ’The Forgotten War’, remember a radio programme which used to be part of Sunday mornings, follow the progress of a man travelling to every country in the world and search out a Berkshire lad with rather a lot of talent. The music ranges from Taylor Swift to Andy Williams.
