Ceri Hanlon a volunteer on the Rose of Hungerford talks to Chris about the summer trips people can enjoy on the canal boat along the wonderful Kennet & Avon canal. Plus “what’s new Mr Q” with Brian Quinn who will provide the local news and events information and there’ll be the weekly look at the UK economy with the “Business Matters” slot. There’ll also be lots of great music to enjoy.
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
This week Penny is joined in the studio by Olivia Simmonds from Hungerford Memory Singers. This is a new dementia choir that Olivia set up in memory of her mother and inspired by Vicky McClure’s Our Dementia Choir in Nottingham. The choir meets monthly at the British Legion in Hungerford and new members from across the area are always welcome.
