The 5th annual Grammy Awards honouring the outstanding achievements in the Music industry in 1962, were held in Los Angeles and Chicago on the 15th of May, 1963.
This Saturday at 9, I will be playing most of the music from the 38 categories that collected a Grammy at that ceremony. Ray Charles and Allan Sherman had the most nominations in 63 but the artist with the most Grammy Awards that year was Tony Bennett with three awards. Don’t miss it.

This week Penny is joined in the studio by Karen from West Berkshire Action for Refugees and Bahman, an asylum seeker from Iran who is currently based in Thatcham where he is making a big difference to the community with his VIAN environmental group.
