Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

It’s the last Friday of the month and the clock leaps forward on Sunday. Following that bit of information is the news that my Featured Artist this week is the Arctic Monkeys at 8. Combine this with more great music selected to start the day, you have a winning combination. Don’t miss it!

9am – 10am Yabber Yabber (Part 1) with Chris Capel

Yabber Yabber is in two parts this week. In part one there’ll be some lesser known news stories of the week and the second of the new weekly “business matters” slots which includes news of a possible end to the rail strikes and stricter rules for landlords. There’ll also be some fab music to enjoy.

10am – 11am This Week with Penny

This week Penny is joined in the studio by Karen from West Berkshire Action for Refugees and Bahman, an asylum seeker from Iran who is currently based in Thatcham where he is making a big difference to the community with his VIAN environmental group.

11am – 12noon Yabber Yabber (Part 2)

In Part 2 there’s all the important local news and local event information from Brian Quinn. Plus local sports updates, a reminder about the Random Act of Kindness awards and yes more great music. Enjoy!

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing Show with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan

The chaps look back at last Friday’s superb Cheltenham Gold Cup and ahead to the weekends action from the feature race meetings at Newbury and Kelso

12.30pm –1.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda and Jane

On this month’s Gardening Show, Linda and Jane will discuss herbaceous borders, seed sowing and staying on top of all those jobs for this time of year.

1.30pm - 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

It’s the popular fortnightly 4LEGS music quiz with your knowledgeable host Tim Stutt. There’ll be the usual rounds including “connections” where you have 4 chances to find the connection between 4 songs.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Linda is back to join Tim and we look at sleeping times, car parks, very large dinosaurs and busy vicars. The music will include Celtic fusion, Cape Town street music, Gospel and more.
