It’s your chance to nominate someone for Random Acts of Kindness they performed in 2022
4LEGS Radio are pleased to announce their Random Acts of Kindness awards for anyone who’s gone the extra mile to help people in their hour of need during 2022 from each of the follwoing: Lambourn (including Lambourn Woodlands), Eastbury, East Garston and Great Shefford (including Shefford Woodlands).
How to nominate someone and the criteria required
- Closing date for nominations is the 31st March 2023
- Nominations must be made by email and sent to 4legsradio@gmail.com
- Those making the nominations can only nominate 1 person not multiples
- The Random Act of Kindness must have taken place during 2022
- The nomination email should contain the following:
- Confirmation that the person being nominated is 16 years old and up and they have given their approval to be nominated
- Explain in no more than 100 words what Random Act of Kindness they performed and what difference it made to the person or people that received it
A winner will chosen from each of the 4 villages stated above and these will be judged by an independent panel from local organisations / groups
Each winner will receive an award and a prize. These will be presented towards the end of April 2023. Date to be confirmed

She runs the Lambourn Junction food bank. Twice a week, hot, cold, rain or shine Julie is there in the car-park. Few of us see the work that it takes her during the rest of the well.
RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS
I want to nominate Julie Roth who is a local in postie and taekwondo champion. Whenever someone needs help or a chat, she always helps them whilst delivering her mail. She’s helped with people’s shopping been a shoulder to cry on and bought get well soon balloons for her customers when they’ve been unwell. She’s such a kind soul and lovely young lady.
Helping the Ukraine in any way is worthy of applause and appreciation and Mandy is organising it on a regular basis
