Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

This week’s Featured Band is Supertramp. Formed in London in 1969, the band have never had a Number One single here in the UK but have still managed tosell over 60 million albums worldwide. As usual, the rest of the programme is made up of a mix of music that should get you going in the right mood to face the day. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

I’m delighted to have on Yabber Yabber today David John Slade (pic right) from Newbury who’s lived there since his birth. David will be sharing some of his interesting life stories and activities which include a number of wide ranging sports, one of which is Skateboarding which he still does today. Also, with all you local news and events information will be Brian Quinn plus there’ll be  some terrific music to enjoy.

11am – 11.30am This Week with Penny

Penny’s guest this week is Louise Wilkin (pic right) from Lambourn Carnival committee. Louise has been at the helm of this village institution for many years but is handing over to new volunteers this year. Fresh ideas are always welcome for the schedule of summer fun in Lambourn.

11.30am – 12.30pm Old Wild Men with Max & Tobi

The themes for today’s Old Wild Men are ‘missed classics’ and ‘more stuff wot I like’.  The Old Wild Men will leave you to guess whose theme is whose. Along with the usual banter and musical knowledge you can enjoy tracks from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Iggy Pop, Kasey Chambers, The Flaming Lips, Tom Waits and many more..

12.30pm – 1.30pm The Finance & Legal Show with Karen Salmon

The team joining Karen today is Peyton Matthews-Hewer (pic right) and Bridget Reynolds from Outcomes Business Group, which is a business coaching firm. Today’s topics are International Women’s Day which is next Wednesday, the Protect Your Business Event which is on March 30th plus the do’s and don’ts of Conveyancing. 

1.30pm – 2.30pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth

This week’s theme is ‘Events and Celebrations’. Music will have touched you at some time in your life whether at a family occasion, spectating a sport, Celebrating a Royal event or just being Patriotic. This weeks Classical gas will revisit the music of some of those momentous occasions for you to enjoy.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face, Tim and Linda investigate a pink and white cat, an elephant with a long memory and a sea loving chicken. Plus a 100 year old shop and a 96 year old legend. The music ranges from the 30s to the 2010s, taking in Van Morrison, Sam Cooke, Bing Crosby and plenty of other great voices.
