12.30pm – 1.30pm This Week with Penny

On this week with Penny, award-winning oral historian A. J. Stone (pic right) looks at the cumulative impact of Covid and lockdown as told through stories that rarely made it into mainstream press – from ICU nurse to boxing promoter, first time Mum to curry restaurant owner, museum manager to teenage student. Stone’s new book, Unlocked is for those who believe it is time to reflect and learn lessons for a shock-prone world. Is it time to forget lockdown and pretend it didn’t happen? Or treasure the unexpected benefits that have ensued?

Penny will also be talking to Adem Cetin from Hungerford Kebab House about his work with the Wiltshire Turkish Centre in Swindon and their tireless efforts gathering aid for earthquake victims in Turkey.

1.30pm – 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

It’s the popular fortnightly music quiz hosted by the even more popular Tim Stutt. Will the connections round be tricky or difficult this week? Tune in to find out.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

This week, Linda is back and we play a lot of Burt Bacharach songs  and talk about his life. Also we update you about the Coronation, talk about squirrels and cowboys (but not together) and find out the quirky history of a rather charming Suffolk resort.
