Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio
7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show
The clocks have changes and it’s definitely much cooler but the music on The Breakfast Show has not changed. Another two hours of great “start your day” music including the music of Jerry Lee Lewis (pic right). He, sadly, passed away last Friday and is Pete’s “Featured Artist” at the top of the hour at eight. Don’t miss it!
9am – 11.15am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Chris is joined on the phone by Sue Hubbard from the charity My Speaker Friend. The charity provides West Berkshire residents who are isolated and lonely with a free simple to use speaker so they can listen to audio recordings of music or spoken word. Oliver Steed from The Lambourn Camera Club will be in the studio to talk about their latest photo competition and Brian Quinn will be on hand to give his round-up of local news and events. Plus, there’s some lesser-known national news items of the week and great tunes. Enjoy!
11.15am – 12noon The D.I.Y Show with Keith Fryer
Keith Fryer from Fort Builders Merchants in Membury is back for another D.I.Y Show. His main subject for the show is the economy and the likely impact on demand. It is likely to slow down a bit over the next few months and that makes it a great time for people who do have the cash to find a great builder and get the work done, probably at a decent price too. Plus, he’ll talk about Fort’s range of Christmas goodies they have to suit every budding builder
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Chris Carter Brennan
It’s the last day of the flat season on Saturday which concludes with the November handicap at Doncaster. There’s also great national hunt racing at Aintree (pic right), where the big race is the Grand Sefton Handicap Chase which is run over the Grand National fences. Plus, there’s the Badger Beer Handicap Chase which takes place at Wincanton. So, a lot for Chris to preview and he’ll hopefully find a winner or two.
12.30pm – 1.30pm The Finance & Legal Show with Karen Salmon
There’s a team of four on this week’s Finance & Legal Show who’ll be providing very useful information on a variety of topics. Mark Clifton from Industry Finance Ltd (pic right) will be speaking about Asset financing and refinancing. Steve Perkins from Claritas Accountancy will cover tax treatment of financing assets. Alex Atkins will talk about growing your business and Karen Salmon will tell you what you can and can’t do on Bonfire Night!

More teasing pop questions from the 4LEGS Radio Pop Meister Tim Stutt in this popular one-hour music quiz.

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda check out advice on saving energy costs, review a very original throwing competition, peruse the ten words of the year and describe a record breaking four legged beach rave (see pic). The music ranges from Sam Fender to a newly mixed Beatles track
