Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio
7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Once again, it’s two hours of great “start your day” music including this week’s Featured Artist at eight, Calvin Harris (pic right). He’s highly successful with ten No.1 hits in the UK charts. He’s also one of the world’s highest paid disc jockeys / producers. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

The BBC is celebrating 100 years of broadcasting and on today’s Yabber Yabber Chris will be playing some well-known BBC theme tunes through the years plus some great BBC Radio 4 sketches. There’s also the local news and events round-up from Brian Quinn, alternative national news items from the week and some great tunes. Enjoy!

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny

This week Penny is going to show Chris how to make some easy and low energy recipes starting with one pot pasta in the microwave
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy and Chris Carter Brennan

It’s the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on Saturday which is one of the biggest races of the early part of the Winter National Hunt Season. Plus, there’s competitive action from the jumps fixture at Ascot. Pat and Chris will trawl through the form to hopefully find you some winners. Chris is in good form having tipped a 22-1 winner on the last show!

12.30pm – 1pm Let There be Drums with Max & Chris

In the third show of the Let There be Drums series Max and Chris talk about and play the music of 2 great drummers, Mitch Michell (pic left) from The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Charlie Watts (pic right) from The Rolling Stones

1pm – 2pm Middle Aged Musical Musings with Owen Killminster

Another chance to listen to a previous show from earlier in the year. The theme is Heaven and Hell – comparing and contrasting the moods and different energy of songs with either Heaven, Hell or both in their titles. If you can think of a favourites song that fits this category, Owen hopes it’s there.
2pm - 3pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth

If you love animals and you like music, on Classical Gas this week we are celebrating the lovely music which composers of Britain wrote to celebrate the animal kingdom. From cats through to kangaroos. So tune in to Classical Gas to hear a musical cacophony of well known tunes from Peter and the Wolf to Carnival of the Animals.

3pm - 4pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On a one hour programme this week, Tim and Linda have a look at the new Watermill Theatre schedule, get advice on the perfect cup of tea, visit a 4 LEGS friend in Devon and check out Agatha Christie’s old home where we find the candlestick, the drawing room but no Colonel Mustard.
