9am – 10.30am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Molly Hall and Charlie Orchard (pic right) will be in the studio to give the latest news from the N.A.W.T Centre at Trindledown Farm nr. Great Shefford. Plus, Brian Quinn will give his usual round-up of local news and events. There’ll also be other lesser-known national news items of the week together with some stonking tunes. Enjoy!
10.30am – 12noon Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester
In an earlier Face2Face Tim and Linda chat to guest Peter Birtwhistle (pic right), who will provide a layman’s guide to the night sky, as the evenings draw in and the stars shine extra brightly. They will also conclude their visit to the Cheltenham Literary Festival and find out how to make a perfect cup of tea. There’ll be plenty of music, ranging from Les Miserables to Marvin Gaye and Paul Heaton.
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan
With Winter around the corner the first big jumps fixture takes place at Cheltenham this weekend, the home of National Hunt Racing. There’s also great flat racing at Doncaster & Newbury. Pat Murphy and Chris Carter Brennan will be on hand to give you all the latest news, previews and will hopefully find you a winner or two.
12.30pm – 1.30pm This Week with Penny
This week Penny will be discussing bird flu which has sadly been reported very close to the valley in Swindon and Farringdon and there’s news of an exciting new collaboration on aid for Ukraine from the Lambourn Valley
1.30pm – 3pm Pop Quizzical Anniversary Special with Tim Stutt
It’s 4 years since Tim joined us with Pop Quizzical so it’s a special 4th anniversary show of 1.5 hours featuring all the best songs and questions over the last 12 months. In the words of Pete Brady “Don’t miss it!”
3pm - 4pm Old Wild Men with Tobi & Max
The two themes for this week’s Old Wild Men are “My Roots” with the music chosen by Tobi and “More Stuff What I Like” with the music chosen by Max.
