Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

It’s holiday time and it’s Pete’s pleasure to start your day off with great music that should set you up for the day ahead.  Pete’s Featured Artist this week is Alison Moyet MBE, the singer that started her career as one half of the successful duo Yazoo and continued on to even more success as a solo artist. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11.15am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris is delighted to welcome Gary Poulson to the 4LEGS studio. Gary is Charity Director at the Volunteer Centre in Newbury and he’ll be talking to Chris about what the charity does and in particular the free suicide prevention training course that they are putting on for the racing industry in the Lambourn Valley, which is being supported by Racing Welfare. There’s also local news and event information from Brian Quinn as well as some great music for you to enjoy. 

11.15am – 12noon The D.I.Y Show with Keith Fryer

The subjects of this summer’s D.I.Y show are Low Carbon Building, for those people wanting to erect home offices, garages, outside buildings, etc. Plus big scale projects made of….yes you’ve guessed it timber!

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan

Pat and Chris will look back at some of the best races from last week’s Glorious Goodwood festival and give their thoughts on this week’s start to the Racing League. Plus they’ll preview this weekend’s Shergar Cup at Ascot which is a competition for international jockeys / teams from around the world

12.30pm – 1.30pm The Finance & Legal Show with Karen Salmon

2.30pm - 3.30pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth

TV Adverts and classical music have always enjoyed a wonderful marriage. In this edition of Classical Gas originally broadcast in July, Chris will be playing some of the most famous tunes that are and always will be associated with well known consumer brands. So tune into Classical Gas and find out how the advertising agencies captured the magic of a good tune.
