9am – 10.30am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Laura Hunter (pic right) will be chatting to Chris ‘live’ from somewhere on the Kennet & Avon Canal between Hungerford and Bristol as she’s midway through her 100 mile walking challenge to raise much needed funds for the charity Free Legal Advice Group for Domestic Violence (FLAG DV). Plus Brian Quinn will provide the latest local news & local event info. There’ll also be national news items from the past week, local sports updates and tunes befitting the great weather. Enjoy!
10.30am – 11am On The Fence with Michael Quinn
This week, Michael discusses the dramatic events unfolding at Downing Street with his brother Dom (pic right), including Boris Johnson’s resignation and the Tory leadership race.
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
This week Penny will be talking to Kirsty Bowden from Sport in Mind about the free activities they offer across the area including the new yoga classes in Lambourn on Friday lunchtimes. She will also have Georgie Hartley from King Alfred’s in the studio to talk about women’s football, the Euros and her experience of being goalie.
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan
Another 30 minute summary of the week in racing from Pat and Chris. They’ll also preview the Weatherbys Super Sprint Stakes at Newbury on Saturday together with the Grade 3 Summer Plate handicap at Market Rasen.
12.30pm – 1.30pm Middle Aged Musical Musings with Owen Killminster

They continue Beach Boy Brian Wilson’s life story and take a trip to Devon where they see how you can get a local accent. Plus music ranging from the Stones to the Ink Spots.
