9am – 11am Yabber Yabber (part 1) with Chris Capel
Yabber Yabber is in 2 parts this week. In part 1 Laura Hunter (pic right) from the Free Legal Advice Group for Domestic Violence (FLAG DV) is in the studio to give the latest news from the charity and it’s growth in the service plus her big fundraising walk in July. There’s also local new and event information from Brian Quinn and all of the show’s music has been chosen by 4LEGS Radio’s youngest music producer. Enjoy!
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
This week Penny will be catching up with Louise Wilkin (pic right) to hear all about the plans for this year’s Lambourn Carnival and Festival for everyone to look forward to in August.
Penny will also be talking about how she is coping with the Ration Challenge this week where she is only eating the rations given to Syrian refugees in Jordan. The challenge is in aid of Concern Worldwide who support refugees in hard to reach places around the world and is a real eye opener on the small amount of food that so many people have to survive on around the world.
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy and Chris Carter Brennan
Pat and Chris are back with another Downlands Racing Show. They will review some of the best performances from Royal Ascot and look ahead to the weekend’s action at Newcastle which hosts the historic Northumberland Plate, and at Newmarket
12.30pm – 1.30pm Yabber Yabber (part 2) with Chris Capel
In part 2 it’s 60 minutes of summertime music interspersed with some national news items
1.30pm - 3pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt
