Here’s what’s on FABUL;OUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Once again it’s two hours of “wake up and face the day” music with Pete Brady including his Featured Artist at 8, Bananarama. Don’t miss it! 

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Christian Noll (pic right) a valued member of the Lambourn Community, is the guest this week.  Christian is one of the founders of the informative Lambourn Community website which provides people with anything and everything they need to know about the village and surrounding area.  With his wife Helen they are very active in the community and Chris will find out more about Christian, his work and why he loves the Valley so much. Plus Brian Quinn will give the usual round up of local news / events and there’ll be some great tunes thrown in as well. Enjoy!

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny

This week Penny will be joined in the studio by Stan Wright (pic right) from the new Nutwood Organic market garden up at Sheepdrove. Nutwood Organics are just starting to supply fresh veg boxes to our local area. Freddie Tulloch (pic left) will also pop in to explain all about the East Garston Bluebell Walk on Sunday 8 May.

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan

With the flat racing now in full swing Pat and Chris will be previewing the first 2 classics of the season these being the 1,000 Guineas and 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket this weekend

12.30pm – 1.30pm Old Wild Men with Max & Tobi

Another mix of well known and lesser known tracks from the dynamic Old Wild Men. Mixed in with a bit of banter and some interesting musical insights. The themes this week are Moon and Colours with music from artists including: The Rolling Stones, The Marcels, REM, Thin Lizzy, Robbie Robertson, The Doors, Hot Club of Cowtown, Jimi Hendrix and many more.

1.30pm – 2.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane

As spring bursts into life, Jane and Linda will be presenting another new gardening programme, focussing this month on colour planning, planting in shade, caring for spring bulbs after flowering and much more. Their plant of the month will be the peony (see pic)

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda who will welcome guest and celebrated astronomer Peter Birtwhistle (pic right) to the studio and quiz him on the latest events in the night sky. There will also be time for all the usual features from the cafe you are not allowed to leave to those old UK holidays, where you always went to the same place.
