Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Hope you can join Pete this Friday morning for two hours of great music including this week’s Featured Artist, the Queen of Soul – Aretha Franklin, at eight. Don’t Miss it!

9am – 12 noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

On a very busy 3 hour show. Chris will be talking to Mike Bowden (pic right) from Pheonix Enterprises in Swindon who’ll provide an update on the fantastic work they are doing to help with the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. There’s also an interview with local Newbury Band ‘New Shores’ (pic left) who write their own material and he’ll be playing 2 of their songs. Also, Mark Smyly from the Lambourn Open Day committee will be talking about this year’s fantastic event which is taking place on Good Friday and Brian Quinn will be on the phone to give the latest local news and event information in the area. There maybe time for some great tunes as well. Enjoy!

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan

With both the Scottish Champion Hurdle and Scottish Grand National taking place at Ayr and the last fixture of the National Hunt season at Newbury this weekend Pat and Chris have got a lot to preview in today’s Downlands Racing Show

12.30pm – 1.30pm This Week with Penny

This week Penny will be catching up with Aimee Wallis (piic right) from Corvid Dawn Wild Bird Rescue at Sheepdrove to find out about their exciting plans for 2022

1.30pm – 2.30pm Old Wild Men with Max & Tobi

Max & Tobi present their usual odd ball mix of old, new and variations on a theme.  This week’s themes are travel and songs with female’s names. Artists include Al Stewart, Feeder, Elvis Costello, Divine Comedy, Flatt & Scruggs and many more…

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda welcome John Fletcher (pic right), one of Great Shefford’s keenest naturalists (and not naturists). John will talk about his passion for wildlife in all forms as well as the local businesses which he and his wife Karen separately run. Plus the inside track on crosswords, sheep and eating the corgis’ biscuits.
