Apart from some great tunes there’ll be the round up of local news and what’s on in the area with Brian Quinn and Chris looks forward to the start of the Winter Olympics in China with some interesting facts about this major sporting event. Plus Keith Fryer from Fort Builders Merchant will be giving his take on some of the recent national and global news events.
11.30am – 12noon The DIY Show with Keith Fryer
On today’s monthly DIY show presenter Keith Fryer’s main topic will be Decking and in particular Composite Decking. Plus he’s news of a new showroom at Fort’s premises in Membury, where people can come along and see all sorts of different options on building materials, in a warm, dry environment!
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan
With the Cheltenham just over 5 weeks away horses will be getting their final prep run before the Festival. With a significant number of Graded races in the UK (Sandown) and Leopardstown (Ireland) over the weekend will there be any horses likely to be nearing their peak form in time for Cheltenham? Pat and Chris may know the answer to that.
12.30pm – 1.30pm The Finance & Legal Show
Expert Finance & Legal show presenters this week are Peyton Matthews-Hewer (pic left) and Alex Atkins (pic right). Today’s topics are the financial aspects of divorce and the complications of turning over house and property plus why people need contracts in business

This week Penny will be catching up with Emma Loveheart (below) from Into the Light Home Healing who will be sharing the love and getting us into the mood for Valentine’s Day.
Penny will also be chatting with Freddie Tulloch (pic right) from The Queen’s Arms on the most nerve-wracking week of his life. Freddie and his cousin Ben are featured in this week’s Channel 4 series Four in a Bed where four B&B owners stay in and critique each other’s hospitality. Tune in to find on what went on in front of and beind the cameras.
2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester
There is a bit of a BBC theme on this week’s Face2Face as Linda and Tim’s topics range from The 80th anniversary off Desert Island Discs to the life story of Barry Cryer. Additionally, they anticipate Ian Hislop and Nick Newman’s new play at the Watermill, focussed on Spike and his interaction with the establishment.
4.30pm - 5.30pm Middle Aged Musical Musings with Owen Killminster
The theme of this month’s show is Heaven and Hell – comparing and contrasting the moods and different energy of songs with either Heaven, Hell or both in their title.
