Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Here we go again. Two hours of great music to start off your day including the Featured artist at 8, Meatloaf, who’s first album “Bat Out Of Hell” is one of the best sellers of all time. Don’t miss it!

9am – 12noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris caught up with Natalie King Barnard (pic right) from the Green Machine nr. Ramsbury in the week to talk about their Tech Amnesty campaign, where over 500 devices have been donated to children for educational, social and entertainment purposes. They have now re-launched the campaign this year to include charities and non-profit organisations across a larger area. On the phone will be Laurent Lebeau (below) to chat about the New Funghi Club shop in Hungerford and Brian Quinn will be on-hand to cover local news and local events. There’ll also be national news items of interest and some great tunes. Enjoy!

12noon – 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan

It’s the last Cheltenham fixture on Saturday before the festival in March. So will there be any horses running worth noting for any of the big races at the festival. Hopefully Pat and Chris will provide some insight.

12.30pm – 1.30pm This Week with Penny

This week Penny will be enjoying lunch at Newbury College’s restaurant where students prepare and serve the meals to develop their professional catering skills. The restaurant is open to the public for lunch on Wednesday and Friday during term-time and serves a constantly changing menu to provide the students with an extensive portfolio of skills and culinary knowledge and to offer diners a wide range of exciting and seasonal dishes.

1.30pm – 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

More great tunes and tricky questions from Tim Stutt during another round of this popular lunchtime music quiz.

2.30pm – 3.30pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth

All you need is Love
“If music be the food of Love then play on” and as we approach Valentines day,Chris Booth will help you find the right musical landscape for an evening of Romance. Classical gas will be featuring well known romantic themes and the stories behind them.

3.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

In a one hour Face2Face, Tim and Linda look at Meatloaf’s colourful life, find out how languages change and learn how robots are coming into our domestic lives. Plus a wide range of music from jazz to brass band to 80s rock. 

4.30pm - 5.30pm Old Wild Men with Max & Tobi

The boy’s music theme this week is “Fire and Air” featuring tracks from The Hollies, Joy Division, Robert Gordon, The Band, Joni Mitchell, Pink Floyd and many more. There’ll be a few factoids along the way together with a bot of banter.
