The Lockdown Hero Awards winners and the visit of the High Sheriff of Berkshire

On the 29th October 4LEGS Radio announced the winners of the Lambourn Valley Lockdown Hero Awards which the radio station initiated at the end of August this year. From a number of nominations the  4 winners were announced and presented with their awards by the High Sheriff of Berkshire Mr Willie Hartley Russell and sponsor Keith Fryer from Fort Builders Merchants in Membury

Congratulations to the winners of the 4LEGS Radio “Lambourn Valley Lockdown Hero Awards.” From Great Shefford Laura Field, From East Garston Deana & Danny Carpenter, from Eastbury David Riley and from Lambourn Julia Blogg. A huge thanks to Keith Fryer from Fort Builders Merchants for sponsoring the awards and for The Shefford, The Queens, The Plough and The George for the dining vouchers which were given to each of the winners. All the awards were presented by the High Sheriff of Berkshire Mr William Hartley Russell.

Whilst visiting to present the Lambourn Valley Lockdown Hero awards  the High Sheriff of Berkshire Mr Willie Hartley Russell met some of the people that help run 3 of Lambourn’s community groups. These being The Lambourn Junction), the Lambourn Volunteer Drivers and Racing Welfare. See below.
