Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Pete’s featured artist this week is Carly Simon. She rose to fame in the 1970’s with a string of hit records including “You’re so Vain”, “The Right Thing To Do”, “Mockingbird” (a duet with James Taylor) and “Nobody Does It Better” from the 1977 James Bond film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’. As usual, the rest of the show will start your day in the right mood. Don’t miss it!

9am – 12noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Do you know of IT Recycling Experts the Green Machine, what they do and how they could make you or your company greener? Well their Marketing Executive Natalie King-Barnard (pic) will explain all during a ‘live interview on the show. Plus Graham Jones talks to Suzi Cairns about Lambourn Pharmacy being commissioned as a low-volume Covid vaccine centre starting from this weekend.  They will be administering the Pfizer vaccine as the recommended booster jab.  There’s also news of local events and local sports plus some marvelous music. 12noon - 12.45pm Downlands Racing Show with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan

The richest flat race in Europe the Prix De L’Arc De Triomphe takes place at Longchamp in Paris on Sunday, and hopefully Pat or Chris will find you the winner. Plus there’s some great racing in the UK on Saturday from Ascot and Newmarket for them to get their teeth stuck into

12.45pm – 1.30pm This Week with Penny

Local lorry driver and transport manager Cate Earl from Lambourn gives a very frank insight into why we have a shortage of HGV drivers in this country and what can be done to improve the situation. Plus Graham Jones talks to Suzi Cairns about Lambourn Pharmacy being commissioned as a low-volume Covid vaccine centre starting from this weekend.  They will be administering the Pfizer vaccine as the recommended booster jab. 

1.30pm - 2.30pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth

Classical Gas is a new monthly show on 4LEGS Radio. It’s launched this week and fronted by Chris Booth in conversation with Tim Forrester. The programme is intended to appeal to anyone who likes good music. Whatever your knowledge or enthusiasm, Classical Gas will feature favourite tunes and the stories behind them.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim Forrester

This week, Linda is away so Tim presents a Face2Face show, which ranges from ‘Bond, James Bond’ to King George the third, from patrolling pigs to old fashioned medical folklore and from a 103 year old lady in waiting to the best female singer songwriter of the last fifty years. Plus of course lots of good music.
