This week Michael talks through some of the news stories, including the death of vaccine passports and further revelations in the Salisbury Novichok poisonings

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan

There’s some fantastic sport at Newmarket this weekend including the Cheveley Park Stakes and the Middle Park Stakes, 2 Group 1 races for some of the flat season’s best 2 year olds. Plus the marathon which is the Cambridgeshire handicap. Can Pat and Chris find the winners of these races? Tune in to find out what they are tipping.

12.30pm – 1.30pm This Week with Penny

This week Penny chats with Sam Chapman (pic right), Manager of the Audley Health Club for over 55s at Inglewood about the importance of exercise after lockdown and the benefits of hula hooping! Sam explains how she helps club members maintain good balance, strength and mobility. She also helps people who have lost confidence and want to lose weight but are nervous about getting back into the gym and covid safety.  To find out more, pop in to the club’s open days on 2 – 6pm Thursday 30 September, and 10am – 2pm Saturday 2 October.
