7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show
This week, the featured artist will be Girls Aloud, the British-Irish pop girl group, that was created though the ITV talent show ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ in 2002.
The group comprised singers Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh. Sadly, last Saturday morning, Sarah Harding lost her battle with breast cancer. Pete will be playing all four of their number one hits, starting at 8am.
As usual, the rest of the music mix is designed to start the day in ‘happy’ mode.

9am – 11am The Best of the Rest Re-run from 1977
For regular Saturday morning ‘Best of the Rest’ fans, this will provide another chance to hear a great music show, featuring some of the best music from 1977, introduced by Pete Brady.
For those, who’ve not been Saturday morning listeners, this will be a treat. Take the opportunity to hear Pete taking you through the music of 1977, featuring the hit songs which didn’t quite reach number one.
They were ‘The Best of the Rest’.
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
This week, Penny will be finding all about the free health talks and taster sessions at Hungerford’s first Health Wellbeing Event this Saturday(11th) with Andy Spaak from West Berkshire’s Injury Clinic.
Penny will also be talking to Waheedo Soomro, Chair of West Berkshire Action for Refugees, about the current Afghan refugee crisis.
12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan
Here is a show for all racing enthusiasts. Pat and Chris will run through the latest racing news and cast an eye on this weekend’s racing, attempting to pick out some likely winners.
12.30pm - 1.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt
You are guaranteed an hour of musical fun, sampling this interactive quiz from the inimitable Tim Stutt. He will award points for the correct answers, so see how many points you can get against him. He will mix the musical styles so you will hear some great music i the process.
1.30pm – 2.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane
The gardening experts Linda and Jane are back with their monthly show. This time, they are talking about sowing some hardy annuals, planning biennials and dealing with pesky pests and problems. It’s a busy time in the garden and they list the key jobs and cast an eye forward on starting to plan spring bulbs.
2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester
On Face2Face, Tim and Linda have their usual esoteric mix of news and stories. This week, we debate the happiest country, check what’s in and what’s out, have a look back at the origins of Abba and find out how the King that never was drowned at sea.
