Pete’s staying in the early 80s this week. In 1982 several new acts appeared in the top 10 for the first time including Meat Loaf, Hall and Oates, Bananarama, Kid Creole and the Coconuts Barry Manilow. Twenty two of the one-hundred and fifty-four singles in the UK Top Ten reached No. 1 that year and Pete will be playing the best of the remaining one-hundred and thirty-two singles over three hours starting at 9 on Saturday morning.
