9am – 12 noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

On a busy show Chris has three telephone guests this week. The first is Michael Quinn (pic) who’s a new 4LEGS presenter and he’ll be telling us a bit about himself and his new show that starts in 2 weeks. The second is Tobi Corney who’s been growing organic Christmas trees for the past few years. We’ll here about the 2 different types available and where/when you can buy them. The final guest is Alan Sykes from The Wantage Silver Band who’ll share everything you’d like to know about the band. Plus we’ll learn and hear their latest composition
which has been produced and performed due to the wizardry of the internet. There’ll also be local news, more informative audios and some great music. Enjoy!

It’s Newbury’s big National Hunt 2 day meeting of the Winter with the showpiece being The Ladbrokes Trophy Chase on Saturday. Can Pat (left) and Chris (right) find the winner of the big race? Well they did last week so tune in to see if they can do it again.
12.45pm – 1.30pm This week with Penny

This week Penny talks to Steve Taylor (pic) from Lambourn about the challenges and developments that 2020 has brought to his Wantage business The Toy Planet retro gaming and toy shop. Although the shop has been closed for months this year, online sales have rocketed and they are moving to a bigger premises in the New Year that will offer a gaming and arcade experience on site. Steve is happy to value and buy any games, toys or movie memorabilia you have from the 1970s to 1990s.
1.30pm - 2.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane

On today’s Gardening Show, Linda and Jane discuss Christmas gardening gifts, give advice on maintaining your Christmas tree, compare gardening plans and check out tasks which can be done in this dormant season.
2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week Tim and Linda meet a pot bellied pig who thinks he is a dog and a giant sea turtle who needs to lose some pounds to fund romance plus We start the Audrey Hepburn story, admire two adventuring 80 year olds and find out how a determined lady was able to keep visiting her dad in a care home.
